How to Apply and Enroll |
HOW TO APPLY AND ENROLL >> STUDENTS TRANSFERRING TO JCTC

Complete an application
Applications can be completed by one of the following methods:
- IN PERSON - Come to any JCTC Campus
- Carrollton Campus - 324 Main Street
- Downtown Campus - Jefferson Educational Center (JEC) - 200 West Broadway (Second and Broadway across from the McDonalds).
- Jefferson Technical Campus - Building B, 727 West Chestnut Street
- Shelby County Campus - 1361 Frankfort Road
- Southwest Campus - Administrative Building - 1000 Community College Drive
- ONLINE - You can fill out the Online Application for Admissions from http://www.applyweb.com/apply/kctcs/
* There is a $5.00 fee to apply online
NOTE: Online Applications received Aug. 1, 2007, or later will be valid for the Spring 2008 Semester. Applicants who would like to attend the Fall 2007 semester should complete a paper application or attend Arena Registration, Aug. 9-17.

Submit Transcripts
All transferring students must contact their former college or university to have an OFFICIAL transcript mailed to and received by Jefferson no later than 30 days after the beginning of the semester. When requesting a transcript please complete and include this form with your request to your previous institution(s). Click here to display the PDF form This will help ensure identification of your transcript in our Admissions Office.
Transfer students should plan to have copies of all college transcripts (unofficial transcripts) or grades for advising and registration.

Transfer students should have copies of all college transcripts (unofficial transcripts) or grades for advising. During peak registration times, the advising centers on the Downtown and Southwest campuses hold walk-in hours, but to make an appointment contact:

Pay Tuition by Deadline
You must pay tuition by the deadline, which is a few days before classes begin each semester. Dates are available on the Web site or at the Student Information Center. You must pay in full or make arrangements to pay by the deadline. Failure to pay by the deadline can result in being dropped from class
