How to Apply and Enroll |
HOW TO APPLY AND ENROLL >> VISITING STUDENTS

Complete an application
Applications can be completed by one of the following methods:
- IN PERSON - Come to any JCTC Campus
- Carrollton Campus - 324 Main Street
- Downtown Campus - Jefferson Educational Center (JEC) - 200 West Broadway (Second and Broadway across from the McDonalds)
- Jefferson Technical Campus - Building B, 727 West Chestnut Street
- Shelby County Campus - 1361 Frankfort Road
- Southwest Campus - Administrative Building - 1000 Community College Drive
- ONLINE - You can fill out the Online Application for Admissions from http://www.applyweb.com/apply/kctcs/
* There is a $5.00 fee to apply online

Submit a Visiting Student Letter
Students must arrange to have a visiting student letter sent to Jefferson from their home colleges or universities. The visiting letter must be received by the Admissions office before the student will be allowed to register.

Provide Permission From Home School
Students must obtain permission from their home colleges or universities to attend Jefferson for a semester or provide transcripts documenting completion of prerequisite courses.
Register for classes
Students are strongly advised to meet with an advisor to register for classes at the Student Information Center.
Students must bring college transcripts and/or test scores as documentation of completed prerequisite courses.

Pay Tuition by Deadline
You must pay tuition by the deadline, which is a few days before classes begin each semester. Dates are available on the Web site or at the Student Information Center. You must pay in full or make arrangements to pay by the deadline. Failure to pay by the deadline can result in being dropped from class
